Frolics Cafe is a small business that was converted from an emty travel agency. It first opened to the community in Spring 2013 after a great deal of hard work in installing a kitchen, wall, counter , equiptment and dining area.

 

After just celebrating our birthday, surviving our first year in a tough economic climate was a big triumph. We have learnt a great deal in the past year and continue to strive for improvemnt.

 

Our great team of hard working staff and generous friends and family have been a corner stone in our development. They have been an essensial support system to the business.

 

We have big plans for our small business and we hope you will join us on our journey.

 At Frolics we believe in good quality ingredients that are cooked to perfection to serve our customers the best meals around.

We try our best to use local butchers and bakers to supply our food and use free range eggs where possible.

 

Most of our food including our cooked breakfast is grilled on fat reducing grills which reduces the amount of fat in the food by up to 42%. We also go one step further by offering a slimmers breakfast which has even less fat.

 

Our breakfast menu caters for vegeterians too with fine quality veggie sausages so you're not missing out on the good stuff.

 

If there's anything missing that you would like to see on our menu please let us know. We're always open to your ideas.

Frolics Cafe was opened by Louise O'Leary. When starting up the cafe Louise had plenty of experience.....in research science and microbiology..... not so much in hospitality. Louise's first attempt at cooking an egg resulted in a large scale evacuation but since then she has mastered the art of a cooked breakfast. She can now cook a breakfast in 6-10 minutes and is a champion panini maker.

 

Lousie works most days and is happy to chat to customers about her tales. She brings life to the cafe.

The local community is at the heart of the cafe. We care about our customers and have received some excellent feedback from them. It's nice to know that we are making a positive change in the community...one cup of tea at a time.

 

We provide a warm welcome to all at Frolics and hope everyone receives equally good service. We also try to make a small improvement to the unemployment in the area by employing as many local people as our funds will allow.

 

 

  

At Frolics we pride ourselves in going above and beyond the standard expectations of food safety laws.  We have obtained a level 5 which is the highest level of food hygeine that can be awarded.

 

All of our staff are trained on food safety and most hold their own independant food hygeine certificate. We ensure every item of food is stored at the correct temperature within it's food group and probe all of our meat so you can be sure that our food is great in every way.
